🎁 FREE browser extension to grow your YouTube channel: 🤍 There is a super handy function in Premiere Pro called guides, that is really helpful when you for example want to crop a video or align graphic. To turn guides on, click "ctrl + alt + G". You can also go to the menu, click "View" and then "Show guides". To add a new line, I usually click "ctrl + alt + R", to see the rulers, then I click on one of the rulers and drag into the video. If you want a vertical line, drag it in from the left ruler and if you want a horizontal line, drag it down from the top ruler. To adjust these lines, simply right click on the line you want to adjust and click "Edit guide". Here you can change the position of the line and the color, for example 100 pixels from the left and red. Then, click OK. If you want to remove a line, just drag and drop it onto the ruler again, or out from the window. Now you can snap your graphic to these lines. Notice that it will snap the "anchor point" to the lines, so if you want to change the "anchor point", select the graphic, go to the "Effect controls" window, "Text", "Transform" and "Anchor point". You can also drag the anchor point manually. You can also save these guides by going to "View", "Guide templates" and "Save guides as template". Hope this video helped you, feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel and check out more quick tutorials like this in my Premiere Pro playlist. If you want to align graphics or text in Adobe Premiere Pro, you can do that in the "Essential Graphics" window. If you can't find that window, go up to the menu, click Windows, and select "Essential Graphics". Now go to that window, click the "New Layer"-icon and create a text or shape or import files. Select the files you want to import and then click "Import", now move each item to where you want them to be roughly and then select all the layers and use the "Align"-tools underneath to align them. I want to align them based on the midpoint of each graphic so I'll click "Align Center Vertically" and then "Distribute Horizontally". You might need to click the same button a couple of times for reasons I'm not aware of. You can also align items using "Guides" which I have made a separate tutorial about that I will link at the End Screen of this video, together with a playlist of all my tutorials.
